The gospel is really important, but you’re not!

This one is really good! (Jonathan McIntosh – Idolatry as Internet Slavery). The thrust of his message is that the internet is NOT the real world and while the gospel is utterly important, our opinions on stuff is not really that important — sometimes we need to just shut-up! He also includes a nice quote from Merlin Mann about fat men.

I think this is useful because it is a reminder to live our lives in the real world of life and faith, use the internet and social media only as long as they are useful, and remember that acclaim from fallen people is not a particularly worthwhile goal to live for.
