Shan-Tai prayer month, day 9
The Shan culture is steeped in Buddhism, this is a very important part of their identity. Unfortunately the Buddhist cultural influence causes the existing Shan Christian community to compromise and adopt customs and beliefs that conflict with the gospel of Christ.
Pray for:
- Revival within the existing Shan church, that they would seek Christ with their whole lives and teach their children to also seek Christ (Revelation 3:16).
- The Shan to realize the real inheritance they have in Christ when they believe and follow Him alone (Colossians 1:12-14).
